About Mariana
Learning a new language is always a challenge, but that doesn't always mean it has to be boring and painful. We just need to find the techniques that work the best for us, for our level, our learning speed, our schedules and our goals, among other factors. What I intend to achieve with these classes is exactly that: to understand the specificities of each student and, from there, make this a rewarding experience for them.
Throughout my life, I have learned languages such as English, German and French from scratch and it was this mindset and the techniques mentioned previously that allowed me to have a very positive experience in the learning process and that fed my ambition to learn more and more.

Given my background in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, I have had a lot of contact with relevant techniques for teaching new languages. This aspect, together with the fact that Portuguese is my mother tongue, makes me feel confident in my work as a teacher of Portuguese as a foreign language.
Classes will be adapted to each student's level, and a personalized plan will be designed to meet their personal goals. Vocabulary, grammar, oral comprehension and conversation will be the main points of development with these classes.
This will be a safe place for learning, where mistakes will be tolerated and corrected with respect and kindness, in order to make your relationship with Portuguese incredible.
