About Janine Sahra
I have completed my German, English and education studies at the University of Heidelberg and have worked in a public school in Berlin for 3.5 years, where I taught both high school graduates in German and English as well as refugees (DaF). I grew up bilingually (German / English) and have lived abroad (USA). In addition, I have paternal Arab roots and I like to travel the world. I am interested in other cultures and I like to open doors to my mother culture and language.

In my classes, it is particularly important for me to integrate the pupil's world of experience and, targeting a rather creative approach, to convey teaching content in a way that makes sense for the specific person I am dealing with. Communication, writing, listening and literary competences, as well as cultural contents, can be focussed when taking my classes. In doing so, it is especially important for me to create an area of efficient interaction and open-minded communication between the student and myself. This, in turn, helps to find teaching methods and contents that fit the student's needs and goals.

Ich habe bei Janine seit 1 Jahr Unterricht in Deutsch und Englisch. Sie ist eine wunderbare Lehrerin, die sich für uns Schüler unheimlich viel Mühe gibt und uns einen fantastischen Unterricht ermöglicht. Für mich ist es etwas Besonderes, dass Janine auf die Bedürfnisse von uns Schülern eingeht und den Unterricht so abwechslungsreich und vor allem kreativ gestaltet. Neben den Schulbüchern ermutigt sie uns, unsere eigenen Ideen und Gedanken einzubringen, so dass wir uns ernst genommen fühlen und der Unterricht nie langweilig, sondern interessant und motivierend ist. Es macht Freude, bei ihr zu lernen, und mit ihrer freundlichen und zugewandten Art lernt man gerne und kann gute Fortschritte machen. Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich das Glück habe, so eine gute Lehrerin zu haben.
Janine kann die gesamte Klasse mitreißen und motivieren, in der Klasse aktiv zu werden und rücksichtsvoll im Umgang zu sein. Durch ihren engagierten Einsatz und die charismatische Art kann sie den Lernstoff sehr schnell und schülerorientiert rüberbringen. Ich wünschte, ich hätte eine so tolle Lehrerin gehabt!
