About Toa
My name is Toa Nikora-Davis, and I am 29 years old. I am a proud father of two boys and a passionate educator. I enjoy supporting young people to grow, learn, and develop a strong understanding of their Māori identity, culture, language, and history. Seeing students gain confidence in who they are and where they come from is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My teaching approach incorporates kapa haka, Māori history, and students’ prior knowledge to create engaging and culturally responsive learning experiences. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs of individual learners while building confidence and understanding.

I hold a Postgraduate Qualification in Teaching and am currently a practicing teacher with 5 years of classroom experience.
