About Anjodi
My name is Anjodi. I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. I enjoy helping students understand math by breaking problems down into clear, logical steps and encouraging them to explain their thinking.
Outside of tutoring, I play the violin and am currently learning Spanish. I enjoy learning new skills and believe that curiosity and practice are key to improving in any subject. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing strong problem-solving skills.

My tutoring approach focuses on understanding each student’s thought process when solving problems. By seeing how a student arrives at an answer, I can identify misunderstandings and adjust my teaching style to match better how they learn. I emphasize key mathematical vocabulary, important concepts, and common patterns in algebra, geometry, precalculus, and trigonometry so students can recognize trends and build stronger problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by guided examples and step-by-step problem solving. I encourage students to explain their reasoning so I can help refine their approach and strengthen their understanding. We then practice similar problems to build confidence and independence.
What sets me apart is my focus on adapting to each student’s learning style and on emphasizing logical thinking over memorization. My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and early college students.
