About Kvie
Hello! My name is Kvie (pronounced "kay-vee"—like the letter K and a key to solve that Math problem!). I’m thrilled to help you on this mathematical adventure. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and have been passionate about tutoring since my high school days. I’ve faced challenges in Mathematics, from Calculus to Algebra... so you don’t have to do it alone.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I am currently working as a Graduate Software Engineer where I use math to solve real-world problems (and occasionally look like a wizard to my coworkers). I’m here to help you tackle those tricky math problems with a teaching style that’s as supportive as it is results-driven.

- My approach of teaching is to create lots of interactive sessions with hands-on activities so that the students can be actively involved. I relate concepts to real-life situations to make them more relatable and easier to understand. I also provide regular feedback so the students reflect on their progress and areas for improvement.
- My lessons typically last 60 minutes.
- I graduated with a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury, and have tutored students in Mathematics (focusing in Calculus and Algebra) since high school. I also tutored Engineering first years students in Engineering Mathematics.
- My lessons are suitable for high school students (from year 9-year 13) and first-year university students.
