About Jack
I grew up in Scotland, was at school in Edinburgh and then university in Newcastle where I did my BEng and MEng. I want to teach as when I was younger I struggled with maths and physics, now I use them nearly everyday and love using these skills. I want to try and change how a student perceives maths so that they see it as a tool that can always help them in the future

My lessons take the theoretical lessons taught in class and then apply them to situations the student can empathise with. I will also ask the student what they believe their strengths and weeknesses are and taylor make a lesson plan for them to build on their weaknesses and reinforce their strengths
