About Sarah
A little bit about me, to help soothe some of your parents, I did almost graduate with honors, but I ended up transferring to another school, which had different requirements to graduate with honors. Some fun things about me: I have been to five different states. My home state is Ohio, but I have also lived in California, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia.
I know a little bit about how to play the piano and guitar. I was in choir for two years.
I am a kind, considerate, and understanding person who loves to try and make sessions as fun and exciting as possible. I take recommendations and listen to what you say to get to know you for our sessions. If you have any questions for me, I will willingly answer any questions you may have. What I've seen with my current students is to engage and try to make the session fun, not all serious. For me, I try to find assignments or papers online that have a theme of something the student likes or something that they need to improve on.
A session will be five to ten minutes of catching up, and then spending a set time on assignments I give and possible homework that the student may need help with.
The main subject I tutor my students in is math, but I am willing to tutor or teach other things if they need help. Maybe help students learn some basic piano and guitar lessons. I really don't care about the grade your student is in, but I do not teach high school or geography.
I think what may set me apart from any traditional tutor is that I like to try and make our sessions fun and interesting, so that they can be excited for our tutoring sessions, but also have days where it is strictly tutoring and nothing that will distract them.
