About Elizabeth
Beth Mooney is an emerging independent artist from Ireland and South Australia. Graduated in 2022 from Adelaide College Of The Arts, her endeavors have led to many explorations within
movement. As an artist with scoliosis and spinal fusion, her practice center’s around pushing and seeking the limitations of an abnormal spine while having notable experiences working with major companies, festivals and artists. Some include Daniel Riley, Lee Brummer, Alison Currie, Carol Wellman Kelly, OzAsia, Illuminate Adelaide, Carclew and Adelaide Fringe Festival. With recently being a part of ChoreoLab 24 DanceHub SA supported by Arts SA, City of Adelaide, AC Arts, Nexus Arts, Australian Dance Theatre and Restless Dance Theatre.

My teaching method is to ensure each student gains a greater understanding of what their own capabilities are. Each student will be guided to discover more awareness of the biomechanics of the movement, which will help secure stronger technique overall.
