About Katie
I graduated with a degree in Neuroscience (BSc) from Cardiff University in 2019, following this I completed an MSc in Neuroimaging also at Cardiff University. I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A level. I'm looking to tutor GCSE and A level students to help them achieve the best grades possible and further their knowledge in Biology to help prepare them for their next educational step.

I am looking to tutor students studying for their GCSE's and A level's in Biology. I will base my tutoring around biological topics that my students find difficult and are currently struggling with; in this way each session will be tailored to individual students' needs and thus will be the most beneficial to them. I will ask students to provide me with a small list of topics they would wish to cover with me before I start tutoring them to ensure that I have a suitable number of resources prepared. Then I will work with my students to devise a further teaching plan for the rest of the sessions to come.

Perfect! Katie tutored my daughter for over a year in A level Biology. A lot of planning went into her lessons with notes and presentations completed to aid with the learning. She was really reliable and knowledgeable about the subject. Mocks predicted E/D and actual AS was A/C. I would highly recommend Katie.

Katie and I studied together for our MSc level degrees at Cardiff University and she was one of the most organised students I know. She is extremely dedicated, intelligent and talented so it's not surprising she got a distinction. On top of it all she is a lovely, kind and caring person. Not to mention hilarious.
