About Jamie
I have a Masters degree in education as well as a graduate degree in English and writing studies. I am a middle school English teacher that also takes on students with learning challenges who need that extra help with time managment/organization. I am passionate about establishing connections and positive rapport with students and think that the learning process requires trust, and a whole lot of fun in order to stick! Whether a student needs help with reading, writing, essay writing, organization, or college planning, acquiring those skills does not have to be stressful. So, let’s make it fun instead!

My lessons are designed to gamify the process of learning in order to increase student engagement and longevity of understanding. I am excited to help students find their voice and improve reading skills while also having fun. I have experience teaching grades ages 6-18 and also offer college planning services as well as organizational planning for students who need a bit of extra help with time managment/overall organization.
