About Erin
Hello prospective student! My name is Erin and I have been working as an ICU nurse for the last 3 years. I graduated from a concurrent nursing program, simultaneously earning my ADN and BSN, while working as a tutor at my local college. These experiences, coupled with my passion for learning and imparting knowledge on others create a recipe where I can effectively empower you as a learner and a future nurse! Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege to precept nursing students on my unit and have become one of the most requested preceptors because of this passion. Prior to working as a nurse, I worked for several years at my college’s tutoring center with students studying their prerequisite courses for nursing and then those in their nursing programs. These sessions are for aspiring Associate of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing candidates. I love to tailor teaching methodology to the individual learner, so no two individuals’ sessions will look the same. I strive to create a psychologically safe and exciting learning environment.
