About Skylar
I have always wanted to be a teacher. Having experience working in a preschool, being a nanny and now being a teacher— I’ve loved to watch children grow and learn in all aspects. My favorite thing is to see the lightbulb moment go off! Math was hard for me in school and being able to now be a math teacher and help so many other students learn and gain confidence!

Math is intimidating to many, but I want to change the stigma behind it! Math IS fun & I love to use a variety of engagement tools to help grow math skills like progress learning, prodigy, math facts & boddle! Memorizing is a skill that works for sure, but I want you to be able to cognitively understand why a strategy works.
