About Alon
I began studying the guitar at the age of 12 after giving up my piano lessons. I fell in love with the instrument almost immediately and at the age of 17, I began my work professionally as a guitar teacher.
Over the years, I have studied and continue to study with other tutors in a variety of different styles, picking up new techniques and approaches along the way to help me keep up with the ever-changing demands of my advancing students.
I hold a Bachelor of Performing Arts from the University of Auckland, distinction in Grade 8 Classical Guitar (ABRSM), and distinction in Grade 8 Rock & Pop Guitar (Trinity).
