About Ben
Hi! My name is Ben and I am a professional musician based in London. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, helping people to achieve their goals and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
I have a wealth of experience performing professionally across the UK and Europe, either with my own bands or working as a sideman for various bands and artists such as Soweto Kinch, London Jazz Orchestra, NYJO, and Ashley Allen.
Professional highlights include performing at Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Barbican.
I pride myself on my communication skills and professionalism, as well as a commitment to a student-first approach to teaching.

Lessons are tailored to you, focusing on your goals, covering everything from punchy horn lines to luscious string arrangements for studio sessions, or band arrangements for live performances. Lessons typically last one hour.
I have a wealth of experience as a professional arranger, working on freelance or personal projects covering a range of musical disciplines (e.g. big bands, string quartets, brass bands, etc).
These lessons are primarily aimed at composers and producers looking to hone their craft, either still studying or at the start of your professional journey, however if you are interested and want to know more, please get in touch.
