About Martina
Hi! My name is Martina, and I am a composer, bassist, guitarist, band leader and music educator. Music has always been my passion, and I know how hard and frustrating studying music can be. That's why I strongly believe that everyone deserves a good and approachable music education. I've been teaching music for all kinds of levels, ages and abilities for more than 10 years now. I always knew that I wanted to be a professional musician. I've been playing the guitar since I was 8 years young. I did my Bachelor's in Classical and Contemporary Composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona). Once I graduated, I started playing the bass, and my hard work made me get into the New England Conservatory of Music (Boston), where I graduated in Jazz Composition. Now, I'm pursuing my Master's in Global Jazz Performance at Berklee School of Music with a merit-based Full Scholarship, playing the bass. My classes are LGTBQ+ friendly.

Looking for an easy approach to understand music in its whole? Do you want to learn Songwriting? Classical Music? Jazz and Modern Music? Improvisation? Do you want to start from scratch? You can work all that with me at a very initial level, but also at a very high level. Now is your time to study with a professional musician graduated at the New England Conservatory of Music, and at Berklee College of Music with a Merit-Based Full Scholarship. Studying with me, you will get a personalized method on music theory, harmony, performance and/or improvisation. With more than 10 years of experience as a Teaching Artist in renowned schools and programs such as Arts for Learning Massachusetts, Boston Music Project, The New England Conservatory, and Sedajazz Collective. I have experience as a music teacher for all kinds of levels and ages, starting from Pre-K Students to Adults. I have published two albums as a band leader, bassist, guitarist and composer, «XANOXANO» (2023) and «Forces and Battlements» (2025), awarded by the New England Conservatory of Music.
