About Edward
I'm a recent IB graduate who achieved 39/45 and specialised in essay-based subjects. I particularly enjoy helping students understand how to construct strong arguments, analyse texts, and find literary devices in different sources.
I was admitted to Sciences Po and have experience writing extensively in English through my IB subjects and school newspaper. Because I recently completed the IB myself, I'm familiar with the current assessment structure and the difference between simply knowing the material and producing an answer that earns marks.

My approach is founded upon the belief that a student must fully understand what they write and analyse to do so at a top-level. Thus, I tailor my teaching to the student and attempt to use techniques that challenge them.
