About Katie

I have taught the full gamut of music education K-12 with 7 years as a band director. I have consistently placed students in all-state ensembles in 3 different state systems by fostering your capacity through musicianship. I pride myself in being able to break complex topics into manageable pieces to ease the often overwhelming amount of information we’re responsible for as musicians.

About the lesson

We work collaboratively to establish goals ranging from making all state or all region to feeling confident on your instrument. My mission is to foster musical literacy and a love of music through rigorous learning and sharing a love for the art of music.
