I am a first-language English speaker and have experience teaching English as a second language. I have service learning experience in teaching individuals of all ages to read. I am experienced in academic writing. Most of all, I am studying to be a clinical psychologist and am therefore patient and understanding.

I try to make learning fun and use a variety of techniques that help students remember the content. I enjoy using visual aids when teaching and practical examples. I try to give examples that are relevant. I try my best to create teaching methods that work best for the student. I believe students can tell me how they would like to learn and what helps them.
