About Sophie

I graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in both World Language Education and Spanish, and I am currently working towards my master's in Latin American Studies. I am certified to teach Spanish in K-12 in the state of Ohio.

Additionally, I have spent time abroad in both Chile and Peru. I have a year's experience tutoring locally, as well as extensive field experience teaching Spanish in schools across Columbus districts.

About the lesson

My lessons can serve as supplemental coursework to existing Spanish curriculum, or I can help you build language fluency from scratch!

I use a communicative approach with an emphasis on comprehensible input to get you feeling comfortable speaking Spanish right away! Additionally, I can design lessons for students of all proficiency levels, highlighting YOUR interests.
