About Samantha
I am a Purdue 2024 graduate with a degree in Spanish and Aeronautical Engineering Technology. I am attending UIC as a graduate student to obtain my masters degree in Hispanic Studies with a focus on linguistics.
At Purdue University, I was a teacher's assistant for numerous classes, which has given me great experience in teaching and interacting with students. I also have experience teaching English and Spanish to elementary school kids.
I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for 6 months, where I attended la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I lived with a host family and truly immersed myself in the Spanish language and culture.

Spanish
All language skills are developed through real-life interactions with the world. For reading comprehension, current events and popular novels are analyzed. Listening skills are developed through media files such as movies, news clips, and podcasts. Speaking skills are fine-tuned through conversations with myself, and writing develops through exercises throughout the lesson.
My lessons are for individuals who are either just starting their language journey with Spanish or for those at an intermediate level.
