Teaching Method and Techniques:
Step 1) Show me what you know.
- Can you read the question? Being unable to read the question is more common than you know and that's ok!
- Do you know what an answer looks like?
- Do you know the steps to get to the answer?
Step 2) Let's fill in the blanks.
- Here are what the variables mean, how to say them and the differences between them.
- It is asking for ____ so your answer should be in the form of ____.
- To get from the starting point to the answer we need to go through this process. Let's find the best way that you understand how to do that.

A typical lesson plan starts:
1) A general overview of the material. (Ask questions!)
2) Confirmation of the assignment we will be completing.
3) Which parts of the assignment we can go over together and which parts you can work on your own.
4) Walkthrough together. (Ask more questions!)
5) Confirmation of comfort level for independent practice.
6) Further questions.

What sets me apart as a tutor:
I am extremely flexible on how to approach math.
- You like to count on your fingers? Me too!
- You do everything in your head? I used to be really good at that!
- Need a calculator? Here's some tips on how to use it.
- Want to approach this from a different method? Let's try it! (I will tell you if I think of any ways where it does not work)

Who the lessons are for:
- Degree: Anyone needing a mathematics or statistics class. Business, Psychology, Physics, Art, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, it's all the same to me.
- Level: High school, Undergraduate, Graduate
- Specifics: I am specialized in applied math and stats but every course is different. Your course may focus on how it applies to your particular major and I may ask you questions on how you believe things work so I can translate the math concepts.
