About Umme
As a current substitute teacher working with grades K–12, I teach new topics daily and have developed a strong ability to explain challenging ideas clearly and confidently. I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace, personality, and learning style, ensuring they feel supported and successful from the very first lesson. Each session begins with a quick check-in on understanding, followed by a structured lesson plan and personalized practice. I provide clear feedback so students always know what to work on next. Students I work with often gain not only higher grades but also a renewed sense of confidence in their learning abilities—a change their teachers and families frequently notice. As a current substitute teacher, I’ve had the unique experience of working with students of all grade levels, abilities, and learning styles.
