About Thomas
I am a professional accordionist with over 25 years of performing and teaching experience, including seven years of advanced study at the renowned Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire in St. Petersburg, Russia, under Professor Oleg Sharov. Throughout my career, I’ve performed nationally and internationally, in concerts, ceilidhs, weddings, and special events, mastering all types of accordion. I teach using a structured Russian conservatoire approach, tailored to each student’s goals and level. My lessons focus on building strong technique, musicality, and confidence, while keeping learning enjoyable and inspiring. Students choose me because of my professional experience, personalised teaching style, and passion for helping musicians of all ages and abilities reach their full potential.
