About Cal
I'm Cal, I'm a modern languages (French, Spanish, Russian) graduate from the university of Bristol. I've always been fascinated by languages, their evolution and how they help us communicate. I'm working abroad at the moment. I recently finished a teaching job in Bordeaux and am currently working in events and hospitality, moving between France, Spain, the Czech Republic and Poland with my work. I love people who share my passion for languages, travel and the opportunities both give us.

I have two approaches adapted to different learners and your goals.
The first is for those studying French GCSE or A Level. Having been through the system myself not too long ago, I I have an in depth understanding of the criteria and how to impress an examiner. I focus on the areas you feel you need to improve, be it writing, speaking or listening and adapt my teaching to many different levels.
My second approach is for those who really want to get speaking the language. Perhaps you've dabbled in and out of French for years but just can't get your words out. Perhaps you're confident but require the extra practise. Or perhaps you're a complete beginner. In any case, I focus on tailored conversational / translation practise. Scrap the grammar books and just get speaking the beautiful language.
