About Sarah
Hello!
As a musician with over a decade of experience playing French Horn, I have gone through many ups and downs in my own journey with this instrument. I love to coach my own students through the challenges that they may face in their own musical journeys. My primary goal is to foster a love for music in general and for the French Horn because intrinsic motivation for growth is key to consistency and success.
I am a graduate of Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music. I studied under both Professor Jeff Nelsen and Professor Denise Tryon, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Horn Performance and a Performer Diploma in Solo Performance.

Sarah is a devoted teacher who strives to guide her students to musical success no matter what their end goal might be. She prioritizes musicality and storytelling in lessons with students of all ages and encourages the appreciation of music in general. She also supports technical excellence in her students as a means by which they can more easily express themselves in their music.
