About Seema
As a history graduate accepted to be a teach first ambassador, aiming to become a history professor, the ability to teach history has become imbued in my professional character. This means that teaching history comes naturally, and I strongly believe that I will be able to support students in approaching history in a more systematic way that doesn’t feel boring or negatively lengthy. I am also very passionate about history and believe that my personal love for the subject will influence the student to develop a similar passion, to whatever extent they deem acceptable. It is my personal passion that has allowed me to understand its content and approach exam questions correctly. Therefore this is the kind of success. I would love to provide for the student.

Approaching history and it’s exams requires a methodological approach that carefully presents, research and a well supported argument. Consistently studying history through GCSEs, A-levels and university ensured a consistent level of practice. Students will be taught how to answer exam questions through the success criteria according to their school. The approach to history, exam questions and revision will not be fixated on recalling dates, but rather how the pupil is able to critically analyse sources, and use this information to provide personal inferences.
