About Yomal
Welcome! I’m Yomal, a passionate ICT tutor holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and Innovation Management from Victoria University in Australia. With nearly a year of experience as a private tutor, I have dedicated myself to providing personalized and effective ICT education for students in Grades 1-10.
My journey into teaching stems from a deep-seated love for technology and a desire to help young minds navigate the digital world with confidence. My Teaching Approach
1. Initial Assessment and Personalized Planning
Every student is unique, and understanding your current knowledge and preferred learning methods is the first step to effective tutoring. In our initial session, I conduct a comprehensive assessment to gauge your ICT skills, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and discuss your learning preferences. Based on the initial assessment, I create a structured yet flexible lesson plan that caters to your individual needs. Whether you’re in Grade 1 or Grade 10, each plan is designed to address the recommended ICT curriculum areas for your year level, ensuring that you receive relevant and targeted instruction. My approach integrates various teaching techniques to make learning engaging and effective, including:
Interactive Learning: Utilizing hands-on activities and real-world applications to reinforce concepts.
Visual Aids and Multimedia: Incorporating videos, diagrams, and interactive software to enhance understanding.
Step-by-Step Instruction: Breaking down complex topics into manageable steps to build confidence and competence.

Grades 1-8:

4. Engaging and Interactive Sessions
Each 1 Hpur lesson is designed to maximize learning within a focused timeframe. Here’s how we make the most of our time together:
- Warm-Up and Review (5 minutes): Brief recap of previous lessons to reinforce learning and address any questions.
- New Material Introduction (25 minutes): Presentation of new concepts using engaging methods tailored to your learning style.
- Practical Application (25 minutes): Hands-on activities, projects, or exercises to apply what you’ve learned.
- Q&A and Feedback (5 minutes): Addressing any uncertainties and providing feedback to ensure understanding and retention.
