About Joseph
I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, Mathematics, and Philosophy, which has provided me with a thorough understanding of the subjects I tutor, all the way from introductory courses to more specialized college-level subjects. I have two years experience in tutoring AP Calculus BC, AP Physics I & II (both calculus-based and algebra-based), and AP Statistics. I am currently working as a physics researcher specializing in quantum condensed matter, which allows these subjects to remain a regular part of my work.

I often prepare lesson plans based on the textbooks and other resources that students are using in class. I structure my lesson plans around the student's preferred learning style; for example, if a student understands classical mechanics better visualization of real-life motion, I may prepare dynamic simulations to demonstrate different mechanical principles. I then prepare optional practice quizzes for studying purposes so that students have more than enough resources to prepare for tests.
