About Yogya
I completed my A-Levels with Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. I have always had a great interest in Maths, Science and problem-solving in general which has led me to have vast experience in exam practice and understanding the examiner. Having been one of the first students to be doing the new GCSE, I discovered all the necessary skills needed to succeed such as critical analysis, problem-solving and efficient note-making. I now feel inspired to spread important exam techniques and make content learning interactive for all students who want to achieve higher but are being held back especially due to recent Covid restrictions. I strive to support my students through all of the syllabi and preparing them to achieve high grades. Last year, during the summer, I fundraised for the NHS by organising a 5 week KS3/GCSE Maths & Further maths Crash course. I helped students all over the UK and together raised £450 for the NHS to aid with the Covid-19 Crises. Previously, I have also supported lots of students through GCSE and KS3 years who have then gone onto getting incredible results

I am a Graduate in a Mathematics and Statistics degree at the University of Oxford. Having a profound interest in these core subjects, I will be tutoring KS2, KS3 and GCSE level students for Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as well as A-level Maths and Further Maths. I generally start my first few lessons with a past paper or some exam questions to understand how much of the content the student has covered and identify strengths and weaknesses. Following this, I make a plan with the student of what we will be covering in the next few lessons and till the first set of exams. The content covered in lessons are live, handwritten notes by me to keep the students engaged and we do lots of examples together as I write them on the screen. Near the end of the lesson, I present some exam questions which they first attempt independently and then we go over them. The set of questions I have for each subject differentiate in the grade levels and difficulty. HW can be provided upon request. I am also available to answer any questions the student may have between lessons via email/message. Feedback is generally given to parents once or twice a month but can be adjusted upon request.

Yogya has been great at school and her way of teaching maths is very efficient. She is my go to person if I am struggling with Physics or Maths!

Then I started tutoring with her where we talked and discussed hard concepts till I understood it well - something not always possible in a classroom environment.
