About Charmelita
Hey! I’m Charmelita Pulido, and I’ll be your English tutor ,
Who I am
I’m someone who learned English not from a textbook first, but from talking to real people - customers, friends, and online. I know what it feels like to freeze up when you need to speak, to worry about making mistakes, and to feel like your English isn’t “good enough” yet.
I’ve been teaching English to people in F&B, customer service, and everyday life for a while now. I’m patient, I laugh at my own mistakes, and I don’t believe in boring grammar drills that make you hate English.
Why I want to teach you
I teach because I’ve seen what happens when someone finally gets confident speaking English.
A shy waiter starts chatting with foreign guests and gets better tips.
A student walks into a job interview and actually answers without panicking.
A parent helps their kid with homework and feels proud.
That’s the stuff that keeps me going.
My goal isn’t to make you sound like a native speaker overnight. My goal is to make you sound like you - but clear, confident, and understood. We’ll focus on real English you can use tomorrow: at work, in interviews, when traveling, or just talking to friends.
What lessons with me look like
No boring lectures. We’ll talk, roleplay, fix mistakes as we go, and laugh a lot. You’ll speak 80% of the time. My job is to guide you, correct you kindly, and push you just enough so you improve every week.
