About Anthony
I hold a BA in Economics with a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, and I'm currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science — so maths isn't just something I teach, it's a core part of my everyday life and work.
Over the past 3–5 years, I've built up solid experience tutoring students at GCSE and A Level, helping them navigate everything from foundational concepts to more advanced topics. I know how daunting maths can feel, which is why I take a patient and encouraging approach — creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without pressure.
My background in economics and data science also means I can bring real-world context to abstract topics, helping students understand not just the how, but the why behind the maths they're learning.

Whether you're looking to build confidence in the fundamentals, tackle tricky topics, or push for top grades, I'll work with you to identify gaps in understanding and develop a clear plan to reach your goals.
Lessons are structured but flexible — combining clear explanation, worked examples, and plenty of practice to ensure concepts really stick. Past papers and exam technique are a key part of my approach at both levels, helping students feel fully prepared and confident on exam day.
