About Zach
I have taught on the university level and worked in microbiology in the public health sector. During my time at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, I taught Anatomy and Physiology I and II. These courses have a historically low passing rate due to the volume of information. However, with my approach to teaching my passing rate was significantly higher than average. This was done with my top-down approach and open discussions that help students learn and engage at a fast pace.

Each lesson plan includes detailed explanations of the subject matter, with a focus on the applications and history of use. The lessons are designed for high school and introductory level college students. Under my tutelage you will learn each topic from the big picture to the underlying mechanisms that show the form and function of microorganisms and cells. In each of my lessons we will use open dialogue to foster discussions that help to understand the modern applications of the subject.
