About Robert
I graduated last year from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors degree in Statistics. During my time in college I developed a love for tutoring and found it to be the most enjoyable and fulfilling thing to do.
In all my years of studying math, I developed determination to solve problems. I realized that with every problem, in math or not, there is always a solution, or at least an optimal solution.
I believe that knowledge in and the ability to do math makes one a powerful problem solver. Whatever career one might be in, there are always problems to solve.
As a tutor, it is my mission not just to teach my students math, but rather to make them powerful problem solvers (and I'll make sure they enjoy it along the way)!

I use creative and unusual ways to make math relatable and enjoyable to learn. A typical lesson plan consists of: 1) Identifying our objective, 2) the typical way of learning the material, 3) an alternative method of learning the material, if needed, and 4) time for the student to practice and apply the material.
My lessons are for students of any age in middle school up to college looking for support in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, or Statistics.
