About Wojciech
I studied mathematics for several years, first for Master degree in mathematics at Wroclaw University in Poland and next for PhD degree in mathematics at UIC, Chicago, graduated in 2003. I was working as a teaching assistant, visiting professor, lecturer, adjunct professor adjunct, at different universities like UIC, Depaul, Loyola, and community colleges in Chicago area. Not to mention my teaching career at University of Nature, Wroclaw, Poland. I have also several years of experience working as a tutor at Triton College, Westwood College, and lately as a professional tutor at Oakton College in Des Plaines and Skokie.

I have several years of experience, working as a tutor at Triton College, Westwood College and lately at Oakton College Des Plaines, both on walk-in basis or in class in front of computers on request for help. Sometimes like in Triton I was tutoring few students at the same time preparing them for coming exams, some were even making photos of my solutions when they have no time to stay. I want always diagnose why student do not understand the problem, do not know how to start or solve the problem or even do not understand the solution, sometimes it is a very simple thing. and problems can be solved immediately. I am asking fundamental questions connected with the topic and reviewing or teaching all necessary material needed to understand the problem, and solve it. Of course how deep I have to go in depends on needs or simply how much time I have/can spend with the student or simply how many problems he/she has to over or much additional help he/she needs. I am trying to be nice and respectful, understanding that some students have to work and do not have sufficient time to study or to do homework, what is the main reason why they are looking for help now.
