About Mulan
Hii, I'm Mulan! It's very lovely meeting you!!
I'm an interdisciplinary tutor with a strong passion for teaching a wide range of subjects, including languages, business, maths, creative arts, and humanities. My teaching style is creative and highly flexible, tailored to your learning goals and pace! I am also a patient listener, strong communicator, and confidence builder. My goal in tutoring is not only to improve your grades, but also to build your confidence and help you master independent learning skills!
On a daily basis, I love playing the piano, visiting galleries, playing volleyball, travelling, and writing poems. I also run a coffee startup which is super fun! I also LOVE cats and food :)
I wish this to be a shared journey where we can learn from each other. Looking forward to embarking on this journey and becoming friends with you!!

My teaching style is creative, interactive, and fully adapted to each student’s individual needs. Having achieved First Class Honours at university and received the Governor General's Academic Award in high school, I have developed a range of learning methodologies and techniques for various subjects. For subjects that require logical reasoning, I help students break down complex concepts into clear, structured analytical steps. For subjects that rely on memorisation, I use storytelling techniques and visual-based learning strategies to enhance understanding and retention. During high school, I tutored English, Chinese, Mathematics, and Psychology, during which I helped an IB higher level Psychology student improve from a grade 4 to a grade 6 within one month. The length of my lessons is flexible and tailored to each student's learning pace - I believe that each student learns differently! My lessons are suitable for students of all levels and ages up to high school.
