About Sid
I am a confident A-level student with a passion for engineering, having represented my school nationally multiple times in engineering competitions and even had the honour of representing the UK at an international level. These experiences have sharpened my skills in maths and physics, while also training me to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly. Alongside this, I hold a Grade 8 Distinction in LAMDA Public Speaking, equipping me with the communication skills to teach effectively and ensure my students genuinely understand the material.

Tutored online for over 2 years, bringing students from GCSE grades of U & 3 in physics and maths respectively to an 8 & 8 at the end of their exams. Typically, lessons last for an hour but there is scope to do 2 hours if requested beforehand. Worked as an in-person tutor at a tutoring company where I was assigned the role as class manager and monitored all the workflow students did while they worked. Lessons generally follow the style of going through a paper/spec to see and highlight initial weaker topics and going through a series of in-depth content consolidation followed by sustained practice and homework. Lessons more tailored to Year 9-11 who are working on their GCSEs
