About Nemiah
Growing, I had hearing loss, seizures, speech impairment, walked late, and has an astigmatism. Through it all, I still accomplished goals. I graduate high school top 5% of my class. I also graduated college. Now, I’m working as a speech assistant. Because of my dedication and determination, I was able to overcome my obstacles. I never allowed the challenges to keep me down. I knew I had to go for success and that’s what I’m continuing to do today. So, no matter the downfalls, don’t stay down, just keep going! You got this!

You should tutor with me because of my passion for helping kids grow in their early stages of speech, whether I’d be phonics, vocabulary, reading, listening, or talking. As someone who struggled with speech and had hearing loss, I understand the importance of developing these skills early on. Also, as a current speech assistant, I find that some kids are struggling because of the lack of practice being done in the homes. So, I’m here to provide tools not only for the kids but for the parents, so they too can help their child reach their fullest potentia
