About Me — Saifurrahmaan
I'm an experienced tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level Economics and Business Studies across the AQA, OCR, and Edexcel exam boards. I hold a First Class Honours degree and have spent years developing professional, specification-aligned teaching materials — the same resources my students use to consistently improve their grades.
My Approach
My teaching is exam-targeted from the very first lesson. I don't rely on generic revision or passive re-reading of textbooks. Instead, every session is built around a clear, custom structure designed to make even the most challenging topics straightforward to understand and, more importantly, straightforward to write about under timed conditions.
I teach students how examiners think. We work through mark schemes together, break down command words, and practise building answers that hit every available mark. This practical, hands-on approach means students aren't just learning content — they're learning how to turn that content into marks on the page.
What to Expect
Lessons typically last one hour and are tailored to each student's current level, target grade, and exam timeline. Whether a student needs to solidify the fundamentals or refine their technique to reach the top grades, I adjust the pace and focus accordingly. Closer to exam season, we shift towards intensive past paper practice and timed drills so that nothing on the real paper feels unfamiliar.

My Approach to Tutoring
