About Dana
I have tutored for five years as a tutor and supplemental instructor during my undergraduate education. I was a supplemental instructor for the general chemistry course where I would be teaching the students outside of class and helping them prepare for exams. I would give practice problems and study guides and more than 75% of the students passed with a B or higher. I started tutoring for students with disabilities including low vision, complete blindness, hearing loss, and students with learning disabilities. I love teaching and one of the best feedback I got was that my tutoring that was tailored to them helped them pass their courses.

I have tutored and taught a variety of different individuals. I know that everyone learns differently and when you get tutoring from me, I will teach and tutor you in a way that you learn best, whether it be visual learner, audio learner, or step-by-step examples. I will go as slow as you need to help you understand the material. I know there are subjects you have to take that you might not enjoy but I will find a way to teach in a fun way that also helps with learning the material.
