About 未来
Hello! I am Miki. I graduated with a Master of Business from Queensland University of Technology.
Before coming to Brisbane, I lived in Japan for more than 20 years.
I had experience working for an IT company as a sales in Japan for about 3 years.
I'm currently teaching Japanese to students (5-50+ years old) from different levels. ️
★Beginner Level: teaching casual / polite conversation for a trip to Japan and how to read Hiragana
★Middle Level: teaching Kanji (Chinese Characters) and casual / natural conversation
★Advanced Level: teaching business-level Japanese for professional workplace communication
In my free time, I enjoy cooking Japanese food and listening to J-pop.
I’d like to teach Japanese because I have a strong passion for sharing Japanese culture through languages.

Miki is an amazing teacher. She always explains things in an easy to understand way, and her classes are always fun. Absolutely recommended.
When I met with Miki, she encouraged me to speak in Japanese straight away which gave me the confidence to try!! I didn't feel judged or embarrassed despite how long it took me to get through some simple sentences, and she patiently broke down everything I had trouble understanding, so I never got lost.
Miki was very friendly and encouraging and explained everything for me very well and wrote down notes for me to take with me and look on again later. It was a very enjoyable learning experience, and I hope to learn from her again!!! :)未来 is not only patient and cheery, but is able to make her students feel very comfortable and open in the space she creates. She breaks down concepts in a very easy to understand manner and treats all her students with respect and kindness. Couldn't recommend her more!
