About Sebastian
I’m a First Class graduate in Politics and International Relations with experience tutoring GCSE, A-level and university students. I specialise in essay-based subjects and have helped students improve academic performance, build confidence, and succeed in competitive university applications. My teaching style is patient, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on clarity, critical thinking, and real understanding—breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts and using exam-style practice to reinforce them. Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes and are designed around your goals, whether that’s mastering content, improving writing, or preparing for assessments. I teach because I care about helping students unlock their potential. I know how frustrating it can be to feel stuck or overwhelmed, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. Whatever your starting point, we’ll work together to build the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

I offer personalised tutoring for GCSE, A-level, and university students in subjects like politics, international relations, economics, English, essay writing, and entrance exams. My approach is based on understanding, not just memorisation. I adapt each lesson to suit your learning style, using real-world examples, exam-style questions, and interactive discussion to reinforce key concepts. Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes long and include clear goals, regular feedback, and optional follow-up resources. I hold a First Class degree in Politics and International Relations from a top UK university, and achieved 4x A*s at A-level. I have successfully supported students with both academic content and university applications, including Oxbridge and Russell Group personal statements. Whether you’re aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or deepen your subject understanding, I provide a calm, encouraging environment and a structured, effective teaching method. All levels welcome, including international students and those studying in English as a second language.
