About Cem
I am a recent graduate from the Part 1 Bachelors Programme in the Architectural Association. I have won numerous awards during my studies, including the First Place Distinction Award for my Bachelors Thesis.
I currently work as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at AL_A in London. I have previously worked for 2-years in the Architectural Association Digital Prototyping Lab, where I would assist students for using and preparing files for Laser Cutters, 3D Printers and CNC-Machines.
I have a passion for computational design and focus my work on the intersection of design and technology.

I can assist you with your design questions, 3-D modelling enquiries, computational design, physical fabrication, model-making questions and portfolio layout. I aim to tailor my teaching to every individual, so I can help the most.
I'm also available off hours if you have quick questions regarding your project.
My skills and focus area are:
Rhinoceros / Grasshopper: I can help you with your modelling questions and assist you on your grasshopper scripts. I can also teach these softwares if you are new to them.
Autodesk Maya: I can introduce you into Subdivision Modelling for architecture and key features of Maya.
V-Ray: Introduction and assistance for rendering using V-ray
Design questions and tutorials: Assisting regarding design related questions, jury preparation, critiques and suggestions for your project.
Physical Fabrication: I will try to answer questions regarding physical modelling techniques, and preparing 3-D files for fabrication.
Portfolio Design: I can assist you on your portfolio layouting and design on InDesign if you're planning to apply to internships or jobs.
