My name is Sanjay, and I’m an RMIT graduate with a strong passion for teaching mathematics across all levels, from foundational concepts to advanced calculus.
My approach to tutoring focuses on building a deep understanding rather than memorization. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and goals. I emphasize problem-solving techniques, exam strategies, and helping students gain confidence in approaching unfamiliar questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the option to extend depending on the student’s needs. Each session is structured to include concept explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to reinforce learning.
I have experience working with high school and early university students, supporting them in topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
My lessons are suited for secondary school students and beginner university students who want to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams.
