I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, focusing on explaining concepts clearly, breaking work into manageable steps, and making sure the student understands before moving on. I use examples, practice questions, and guided problem-solving to build confidence and reinforce learning in both maths and English. For English, this includes support with reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, and building clear answers.
Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes, allowing time to review previous work, cover new material, and practise together.
My experience comes from helping classmates and younger students with schoolwork, particularly in maths and English, as well as maintaining strong academic progress myself. This has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and different ways of explaining concepts.
My lessons are aimed at primary and secondary school students who want extra support, improved confidence, or help preparing for tests and assignments.
