About Kyra
I’ve been shooting analog for years, I have a strong passion for film photography, for starters because I’m an old soul. I connect with the process, and people as I go. It’s truly recording snapshots of time. Like an old vinyl record, it’s hard copy, can be hard core yet soft, it’s real. My personal work focuses on portraiture and surroundings. The eye for all things, most simple & mystique, some more grand. Natural states. It explores ideas of people and places, the passage of time, and feels of another era(s). I’m heavily influenced by the psychedelic rock and jazz & blues scenes of the sixties, in my work and life. I will be continuing my journey of life and photography around the world forever. I wish to always keep learning from others, to teach what I know, and spread love everywhere. We must all connect again. Thank you and hope to hear from you. ~ Kyra X
