About Yasmin

I have been a teacher for over 30 years and love my students, love to help them develop hope in self-actualisation, and overcoming limiting beliefs about personal capacity together towards setting up for and achieving success. And to this end many of my students are still in contact with me years later.

About the lesson

I use the Communicative Approach to assist students understand the structure of unpacking exam questions, essay topics, grammar, paragraph format and literacy. This is a student-centred collaborative person partnered strategy that applies learning to student interests so as to assist motivation in learning to express one's passions both verbally and in writing, as well as research, reading based on student hobbies.
The lessons go for about an hour unless the student requires extra assistance with assignments and test preparation. My qualifications include a Diploma and Graduate Diploma of Education based on languages English, French and Spanish alongside a Cert IV and Graduate Certificate in teaching English as a second language.
