About Shirley
Shirley Guo is a dedicated harp educator and performer with years of teaching experience, offering private and group harp instruction to students of all levels and ages. In addition to teaching, she has performed over 600 concerts across Europe, Asia, and America, gracing iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Vienna State Opera House, and Teatro Massimo. Shirley holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under renowned harpist Susan Jolles. Her dual expertise as a performer and teacher allows her to bring real-world insight, structured pedagogy, and creative engagement to her students.

Beginners start with 30 minute lessons, advanced students have 1-1.5 hour lessons, depending on the repertoire and student's focus levels.
Fundamentals are the building bricks for all musicians. My lessons will demand for students' highest level of concentration and focus without taking away the joy and inspiration of music!
