I will always go through the structure with the parent beforehand to understand what is wanted out of the lesson. We will focus on areas the student is weaker on and make sure the key understanding is there, before practising some previous exam questions.

Jake tutored me for A Level Economics where I achieved an A grade in the summer. He asked me for the topics which I needed the most help with every week so that by the end of each session I’d feel more and more confident with the subject.
Jake armed our daughter with the tactics she needed to succeed in her Geography A Level, enabling her to achieve an A grade. He is very knowledgeable about each paper and what the examiners are looking for to secure the top marks. He is friendly and down to earth and so put our daughter at ease immediately.
