About Juana
I’m currently studying Business Analytics at university, and one thing I’ve learned along the way is how helpful it can be to have someone explain things in a simple, clear way — that’s exactly why I decided to start tutoring! I love helping students feel more confident with subjects like Business Studies, Finance, and Analytics. Whether you’re feeling stuck, want to boost your grades, or just need someone to guide you through tricky topics, I’m here to help. I know school can feel overwhelming sometimes, but with the right support, it doesn’t have to be. In our lessons, we’ll work together at your pace, focus on your goals, and make sure you understand the why behind what you’re learning. As a tutor, my approach focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and results-driven learning environment. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching methods to match each student’s learning style, goals, and pace. Techniques and Teaching Methodology I use a blend of: Interactive teaching: Encouraging active participation through discussions, problem-solving, and real-life examples. Simplified explanations: Breaking down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand parts. Practice-based learning: Using exercises, quizzes, and past exam papers to reinforce understanding. Regular feedback: Providing constructive feedback to help students improve and stay motivated. Typical Length of a Lesson Most of my lessons run for 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover content thoroughly while maintaining focus and engagement. However, I also offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s needs. Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Analytics, building on my strong academic foundation in business and literature from high school. I have also gained three months of experience as a Business Studies tutor, helping students grasp complex business concepts and improve their academic performance. My analytical and problem-solving skills allow me to explain topics clearly and effectively. Who My Lessons Are For I offer tutoring for: High school students (Years 10-12), particularly in Business Studies and related subjects. Students who want to build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve better academic results.
