About Sumaya
I’m a primary/early years teacher who’s passionate about children and education.
My speciality lies with bonding and understanding students and their capabilities and finding ways to increase their love of learning either through Phonics or Language and Literature.
My experience lies in teaching Primary all subjects and teaching Phonics in Early Years.

Tutoring is my first choice, not a plan B. It’s a career, one that I love. I’m motivated by
finding creative ways to engage students in the learning process. For example, reading a story, emphasis is put on hyperbole, empathy, imitation and intonation to capture their attention.
Creating a caring environment in which children learn with confidence.
For the little ones, reading with confidence starts with learning phonics and blending letters together. I am well versed in teaching phonetics.
